São eles: costões rochosos, recifes rasos, recifes mesofóticos, recifes profundos, bancos de rodolitos e bancos de esponjas.Costões rochosos:base de dados do Índice de Sensibilidade do Litoral (ISL) do MAREM (Witt Obrien\u2019s/IBAMA/IBP, 2015). Foram selecionadas as feições referentes às classes de costão rochoso (correspondentes ao ISL 1,2 e 8). Em seguida, com apoio das imagens do Basemap do ArcGIS e a partir de interpretação visual, foram selecionados os segmentos de linha correspondentes às classes de costão rochoso (correspondentes ao ISL 1,2 e 8) e foram removidos aqueles que correspondiam às outras classes, também agrupadas nesses valores de ISL mencionados, tais como: terraços, falésias, e estruturas artificiais, permanecendo somente aquelas correspondentes aos costões rochosos. Foi gerado um buffer de 10 metros a partir desses segmentos de linhas para modelar a área potencial desse ecossistema, e em seguida foi excluída (recortada) a porção terrestre do buffer (interna à linha de costa).Recifes rasos: base de dados MMA (2006) cedida pela equipe do DECO-MMA. Foi realizado um refinamento desse dado que apresentava erros que precisaram ser corrigidos, tais como feições de recifes em áreas terrestres bem internas, inclusive se sobrepondo às áreas de rios e manguezais, e recifes ocupando toda a porção de ilhas como Fernando de Noronha.Recifes mesofóticos: foram utilizadas três base de dados para representar esse ecossistema; a base gerada no estudo Moura, R.L. et al.,(2013) para a região de Abrolhos, cedido pelo especialista João Batista Teixeira (UFES/Aqua Ambiental); a base gerada no estudo Moura, R.L. et al, (2016) para a região da Foz do Amazonas, cedida pela especialista Camila Thomaz (Greenpeace)e a base gerada no estudo Soares, M.O. et al. (2018) para todo o Brasil, cedida pelo especialista Marcelo Soares (UFC).Essa última é uma base de feições de pontos que representam locais de ocorrência de recifes de corais.
